Growing up in Chicago- watching variety shows, John Michaels got electrified when a magician appeared, and thought “wow, that’s cool!”  

He never knew that’s what he would end up doing, until 15 years later,  when one day he walked into a little magic shop in Jacksonville, North Carolina. His life changed instantly. Realizing this was his calling…MAGIC! Inspired by many entertainers and the showmanship of Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince and of course the superstars of magic, Siegfried & Roy! John Michaels now travels with his own show, entertaining throughout the U.S.

John Michaels takes some classics of magic combined with comedy, music and showmanship to present an exciting and colorful show that is enjoyed by all ages.
